Clearance: TS/SCI w/FSP
Synertex LLC is seeking Ruby on Rails Developer to support a classified customer in Reston Virginia. Primary responsibilities include supporting projects and infrastructure activities for the systems supporting the Sponsor’s Director Executive Staff offices. The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

Analyze customer needs and develop software solutions

Design and develop enterprise applications in various environments and networks
-
Develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs

Design software or customize software for customer use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency

Perform reviews of work products for correctness, for adherence to the design concept and user standards
-
Assist with determining level of effort of tasks to be worked and delivered work products within agreed upon schedules
-
Assist with supporting Operation and Maintenance activities.
At a minimum, successfully candidate must have a strong Ruby background and demonstrated on-the-job experience developing medium to complex mission oriented web based applications and systems. Experience should also include operations and maintenance (O&M) support.
Mandatory Skills
-
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated on-the-job hands-on experience with full-stack development using Angular.js, Node.js, Sails.js, Javascript based micro-services and Linux based operating systems

Minimum 4 years of demonstrated on-the-job hands-on experience developing Microsoft SharePoint applications/sites written in C Sharp and Microsoft’s .net framework, and managing Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure, including servers.

Demonstrated on-the-job experience with No SQL databases, such as Mongo database.

Minimum 1 year of demonstrated on-the-job experience with development or integration of technical solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) with 16+ years of relevant experience
